Endicott Police Arrest Suspect in Multiple Burlaries

A man is arrested for breaking into EZ Food Mart and Nick’s Pizzeria in Endicott and stealing cash.
Endicott Police arrested 42-year-old Alfred Wheeler III, of June Street, for breaking into the EZ Food Mart at 2000 East Main Street in Endicott. Police say he broke out a window, entered the store and stole cash and cigarettes. During a search of his home, officers found out that he had also broken into Nick’s Pizzeria at 117 East Main Street in Endicott on March 31st. Police say he broke out a window, entered the restaurant and stole cash from the register.
Police also suspect Wheeler of committing other burglaries in the village of Endicott and the town of Union during the past several months. Wheeler is being charged with two counts of burglary in the 3rd degree. Other charges are pending. Wheeler was arraigned in Village of Endicott Court and taken to Broome County Jail without bail.
