A Binghamton man is facing felony charges after police find heroin on him and at his home.
The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force arrested 33-year-old Damien Ellison, of Binghamton, Wednesday night following the execution of a narcotics search warrant. Ellison was found walking on Rutherford Street in the City of Binghamton and was taken into custody. Ellison was found to be in possession of 30 glassine envelopes each containing heroin. Police then searched Ellison’s home on Hawley Street in Binghamton where they found another 111 glassine envelopes each containing heroin. He also had $1,720 in cash.
Ellison will be charged with two felony counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree. Ellison is facing arraignment in the City of Binghamton Court.
