The Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park began its 138th season with its opening this weekend. The zoo underwent a re-branding this winter and added both new animals as well as exhibits. Some of the changes include a leopard, a new viewing window for the penguins section, a rainforest exhibit, along with a new concession stand. The zoo at Ross Park was inspired to make changes and rebuild after several other zoos across New York state made changes in recent years.
