Road work in the city of Binghamton this week may cause traffic delays. Now through Friday, there will be periodic lane closures, as road work will be taking place from 7 AM to 5 PM each day this week. The work will be performed on Front Street in Binghamton, between Prospect and Bevier Streets, as well as on Prospect Street near Mygatt Street. There will also be lane closures on Chenango Street near Moffatt Avenue and Sturgess Street. The Department of Transportation would like to remind drivers who travel on these roads to allow extra time for their daily commutes.
