An Endicott man is being charged with felony arson in connection with a fire at a hotel where he lives. 50-year-old James Clark, who lives at the Endicott Inn at 214 Washington Avenue, is accused of setting fire to items inside a cart in the hotel’s south entrance hallway, according to police. By the time an employee noticed the flames on Monday night, the cart was fully engulfed, and the flames damaged a wall. The employee was able to move the cart outside before it spread further in the building. No one was injured and no tenants were displaced. Clark was charged and arraigned Tuesday in the Village of Endicott court and sent to the Broome County jail without bail.
