A Norwich man has been charged with assault after he was accused of biting a police officer. 20-year-old Andrew Graham was also charged with resisting arrest and obstructing emergency medical services, according to the city’s police department. Around 11:00 Sunday night, police received a call to assist with a medical issue on River Street in Norwich. Graham is accused of hitting a firefighter who was rendering aid to him, before he bit the police officer. He is being arraigned today in Norwich court.
