After a two hour search, a K-9 unit in Binghamton helped find a 13-year-old boy with Down Syndrome who had gone missing. Just before 6:30 Wednesday night, officers responded to Ely Park Boulevard in Binghamton to a report of a missing boy. After an unsuccessful search by officers of the Legacy Bay Townhome complex, K-9 units from Binghamton and Johnson City were deployed to assist in the search. Binghamton Officer Kevin Brown and his K-9 found the boy in a creek bed on the south eastern side of the Ely Park golf course. The boy was returned to his parents unharmed and in good health.
