After the tragic devastation left in the wake of a tornado in Moore, Oklahoma, the Red Cross of the Southern Tier expects to get the call to help assist in the clean-up. Volunteers in the Rochester area got the call to leave on Wednesday for the mid-west. In times of need, the Red Cross helps not only clean up the aftermath of a natural disaster, but also provide critical services including shelter, medical supplies, and mental health resources. At this time, at least 34 emergency response vehicles have been deployed to Oklahoma.
