A Binghamton man has been arrested following an armed robbery of a CVS in Johnson City on Friday. 29-year-old Kyle Czekala was charged with robbery and criminal possession of a weapon, both felonies. He is accused of robbing the CVS on Riverside Drive at knifepoint. Johnson City Police say Czekala demanded that the pharmacist give him narcotic medications. He fled on foot and was apprehended a short time later by patrol officers close to the scene. He was arraigned in Johnson City Village Court and sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
