An Endicott man is arrested after allegedly assaulting a police officer. Officials said they were called to a home on Madison Avenue for a domestic dispute Tuesday afternoon. They said that when they attempted to arrest 20-year-old John Cheeseboro, he began to physically fight with the officer. Police said he hit the officer multiple times. Cheeseboro is now being charged with assault, resisting arrest, harassment, and disorderly conduct. He was arraigned and is being held at the Broome County Jail without bail. The officer sustained minor injuries.
