Just over a month after an antique store on Washington Avenue in Endicott was burglarized, the man responsible has been put behind bars. 58-year-old Derek Milaski was arrested after he allegedly broke into Avenue Antiques in the early morning hours of June 5th and stole several antiques, including a flare gun and nine World War II-era bayonets. The stolen items have not been recovered at this time. Milaski was arraigned in the Village of Endicott Court and taken to the Broome County Jail without bail. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with more information is asked to call the Endicott Police Detective Division at 757-2479.
