A Brooklyn man wanted in a robbery case was stopped and arrested in Johnson City. 49-year-old Michael Mann was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation, and he provided police with a false name during the stop. When officers discovered Mann’s true identity, they learned he was wanted by the state Division of Parole for violating parole on a second-degree robbery charge. Along with the parole violation, Mann was also charged with criminal impersonation and unlawful possession of marijuana. He was issued tickets for the charges and held in the Broome County Jail for the parole violation.
