Investigators say a rabid fox in Tompkins County has been shot and killed. According to county health officials, two people were bitten by the fox on Monday. After a long search for the animal, troopers were able to kill it near the Franziska Racker Center. The fox will now have to be tested by officials. The health department wants to hear from anyone who may have had contact with the fox in the Town of Ulysses. You can reach them at (607) 274-6688.
