A 17-year-old boy has been arrested for the vandalism of two parks in Waverly. According to police, the teenager kicked in doors to the East Waverly park pavilion and also damaged cabinets inside. He also allegedly caused damage to a shed door and garage door at the park. Police also reportedly found electric housing covers ripped off at the gazebo in Muldoon Park. Police have also linked the teen to damage that has been caused at the Forrest Home Cemetery, along with the Elm Street Elementary School playground. He was charged with burglary in the third degree, criminal mischief in the third degree, and larceny and criminal mischief in the fourth degree. He was taken to Waverly court and remanded to the Tioga County Jail.
