A Johnson City man is facing felony charges after being accused of growing 85 marijuana plants inside his home. 41-year-old Anthony DePersis was charged with a felony count of criminal possession of marijuana, along with a misdemeanor charge for unlawfully growing cannabis. The charges were issued after police responded to his home for an unrelated complaint. Various drug paraphernalia were seized from DePersis’s residence. He was arraigned in the Village of Johnson City Court and sent to the Broome County Jail.
