A local drug prevention group is hosting Family Days in the Park, which started Thursday. KYDS Coalition began weekly events in Broome County parks, which will take place between 5:30 and 7:30 PM. There will be family friendly activities such as entertainment, arts and crafts, snacks, games, and giveaways. Thursday, there was a family day at the Northside Park on Oak Hill Avenue in Endicott. Other family days at Broome parks will include Binghamton’s Fairview Park on Robinson Street on August 15th, Binghamton’s Recreation Park on Beethoven Street on August 22nd, and Dickinson’s Otsiningo Park on August 29th.
