A Pennsylvania teen is accused of hitting a volunteer firefighter who was trying to warn him of danger. State police say 19-year-old Travis Lee Taylor, was driving drunk on Rummerfield Creek Road in Standing Stone Township on Saturday. According to investigators, 25-year-old Clinton Houghtaling tried to warn Taylor about wires down in the roadway. Troopers say Taylor tried to stop, but couldn’t and ended up hitting the man. Houghtaling was flown to a nearby hospital with major injuries, but is in stable condition. Taylor now faces a number of charges, including aggravated assault by vehicle while driving under the influence.
