A motorcyclist was sent to the hospital after colliding with a car on Route 26 Monday afternoon. According to the Maine Fire Chief, around 2 o’clock, the man driving the motorcycle was traveling southbound on Route 26 when a woman pulled her car out of Lewis Street, causing the two to collide. The motorcyclist was taken by ambulance to Wilson Hospital in Johnson City with unknown injuries. The driver of the car was not injured. Broome County Sheriff’s deputies along with crews from the Maine and Union Center fire departments responded to the scene.
