A woman from the Town of Greene is accused of making methamphetamine after police found materials and the manufactured drug in her vehicle. The Chenango County Sheriff’s arrested 28-year-old Kimberly Haughton on Tuesday after investigators in the narcotics division found meth and precursors, solvents, and chemical reagents used to make the drug in her vehicle. Haughton was charged with felony counts of unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine, criminal possession of precursors of methamphetamine, along with a misdemeanor charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was arraigned and released to return at a later date.
