A small explosion at the Ithaca Wegmans injured two people. According to police, it happened inside a can recycling machine the two people were operating. Ithaca Police say two people were taken to a nearby hospital and are expected to be okay. One entrance to the store was blocked, but the Wegmans did not have to shut down because of the incident. Police are looking into what caused the explosion.
