Waverly Police Department investigate a hit and run involving a bicyclist. The incident happened around 4 p.m. Monday on Fredrick Street in front of the Waverly High School. The driver of a dark blue 4-door Dodge pick-up truck struck a bicyclist and fled the scene, according to police. The truck is reported to have Florida license plates. It also has spot lights on the driver and passenger sides, as well as “fancy” rims and large tires. On the tail gate of the truck, it says, “Do not Dodge it, Ram it.” The driver of the truck is believed to be a white male in his thirties.
