While reports on Tuesday said a hit-and-run took place in Waverly, police are now saying that after an investigation, no such incident took place. Initial reports said that Monday evening a bicyclist was struck by a pick-up truck in front of the Waverly High School and the truck fled the scene. The Waverly Police Department is now saying that the bicyclist was not struck by a vehicle, and the incident was falsely reported.
