The Cornell Cooperative Extension celebrated 100 years of serving the community on Monday. The organization held a ceremony to celebrate the milestone at the annual Fall Festival for Kids in Ithaca. The CCE was originally started to focus on agriculture alone, but 100 years later has grown into a staff of 250 employees and 2,500 volunteers, with about 200 different programs throughout the organization.
