The Bradford County man accused of murdering his cousin and her husband in 2006 will remain in criminal confinement. John DeSisti was charged with the murders after a land dispute. However, he was never tried for the crime because he was eventually ruled incompetent to stand trial. This week, a judge denied a motion from DeSisti’s attorneys to release him from criminal confinement. The judge ordered that DeSisti remains at the State Correctional Facility in Waymart until his competency is restored.
