A homeless man in Chenango County stole a car, drove it while drunk, and after crashing it into a ditch, called 911 to have it towed. Adam Holt said during the call that he had been in a crash and needed to be towed out of a ditch in New Berlin. He tried to fight officers during his arrest, attempting to bite them, and kicking one deputy in the face. He is now facing charges of grand larceny, obstructing governmental administration, and harassment, along with the DWI charge.
