New York Senator Charles Schumer announced on Monday that BAE Systems in Endicott is set to receive a contract from the U.S. Army worth $7 million. The investment by the Army is part of a larger contract worth $195 million to create 18 different vehicle sets to be used by the Army’s Armored Brigade Combat team. BAE in Endicott will be responsible for supplying the vehicle electronics, and any remaining work will be performed by BAE’s facility in York, Pennsylvania.
