Police found the body of a woman along the side of the road in Dryden, but have not yet released how or why she died. According to the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office, the woman was found at approximately 7 a.m. Sunday on the shoulder of West Dryden Road. Police identified the woman as 31-year-old Crystal Grobelny of Moravia. Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton conducted an autopsy, but have not yet released her cause of death. The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office, New York State Crash Investigation Unit, New York State Police Forensic Investigative Unit and the Tompkins County District’s Attorney’s Office are investigating the case. Anyone with information is asked to contact authorities.
