The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a Town of Pitcher woman following an investigation of the death of a 3-month-old girl in September. 38-year-old Geneia Rood has been charged with second-degree manslaughter after the child was found to have had alcohol in her system. She was sent to the Chenango County Jail on $50,000 cash bail.
