The Town of Union had its new judge sworn in on Wednesday. Former Broome County legislator John Black became the town’s judge, after he was sworn in by Judge Richard Miller at Union’s municipal hall. Black had served on the county legislature since 2006. Before serving as a legislator, Black ran for Town Justice, losing by just 30 votes.
