The roof of a temple in Vestal collapsed late Sunday night. The extensive damage continued through two floors, down to the basement, where the Hillel Academy is located. So far, the academy has only been able to recover their main computer because a significant portion of the basement roof collapsed. School officials say they are finalizing a new location for the rest of the academic year, with plans to reopen tomorrow. All new school supplies and textbooks need to be purchased. The Vestal School District is helping to replace equipment. No one was in the building at the time of the collapse.
