State Police out of Norwich are investigating two separate burglaries resulting in guns being stolen. Two separate incidents occurred at Mayhood’s Sporting Goods on Route 12 between Monday night and Tuesday morning. Several firearms were taken from the store, including more than 22 handguns, a number of long guns, and boxes of ammunition. A complete inventory of all stolen goods is being put together at this time. Anyone with information on the burglaries is asked to contact the State Police at Norwich at 334-3296.
