A fire broke out in a Johnson City business just before 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Smoke billowed out of the attic window at PMP Delicatessen at 80 Harry L. Drive. Firefighters broke the windows to allow smoke to escape out of the top floor. A family lives on the second floor of the two-story building with the deli is on the first floor. The Johnson City Fire Department said the fire started in the kitchen of the apartment. Flames were out in just a matter of minutes. The Red Cross will house the family for the next few days. No one was injured.
