A winter weather advisory is in effect in our area now through Friday morning. Accumulations of 4 to 6 inches of snow can be expected in spots. There will be steady, light snow spreading across the region this morning, with the heaviest snow expected to occur this afternoon and into tonight, with snow ending late tonight. Temperatures are expected to be in the 20’s, with winds from 10 to 15 miles per hour. Roads are expected to be snow covered and slippery, and this evening’s commute could be significantly affected. As always, use extreme caution while driving.
