A summer home on Quaker Lake in Silver Lake Township, Pennsylvania caught fire Sunday morning, and now the local police department has confirmed that the fire was an act of arson. The call for the fire at 60 Lake Front Road initially came in just before 6:30 Sunday morning, and the owners were not home at the time of the fire. The family that owned the home spent Monday searching through the debris for any items of value or keepsakes. Another home just a half a mile away on Patton Road burned to the ground in early December, a fire that is still under investigation. Police have not confirmed whether the two fires are related at this time. The arson investigation at the home on Quaker Lake is ongoing.
