A Trumansburg man is facing felony charges after he is accused of stealing a vehicle. State Police out of Ithaca reportedly observed 26-year-old Patrick Shay driving a vehicle that had been reported stolen along State Route 13 in Dryden, and when they attempted to pull the vehicle over, Shay refused to stop and fled the scene. He ultimately lost control of the vehicle and struck a snow bank in the Village of Dryden, where he attempted to flee on foot into the woods before being caught by troopers. He was found to be in possession of hydrocodone pills, marijuana, and stolen property from inside the stolen vehicle. He was sent to the Tompkins County Jail on $10,000 bail.
