A number of employees were laid off this morning at IBM in Endicott. A reported 10 to 15 people no longer have jobs at the local IBM branch, as the company has been handing out job cuts across the country. IBM is predicting 13,000 to 15,000 job cuts worldwide. 720 workers are employed locally at IBM, with about 14,000 in New York State.
