The Maine-Endwell boys basketball team breezed past Owego to win a Section 4 title, but ran into a shooting buzzsaw Tuesday night as they took on Section 9 champ Red Hook, and lost 68-57. The Red Hook Red Raiders made seven three-pointers in the first half alone and shot nearly 75 percent from the field. With that lights-out first half by Red Hook, M-E was trailing at half 45-29, and was unable to come back in the second half. The Spartans were led in the game by 19 points from Jake Sinicki, and with the loss, finish their Section 4 champion season at 13-5.
