A Pennsylvania man was taken into custody following a bar fight in Vestal. 36-year-old Robert Clifford of Friendsville, Pennsylvania is accused of causing a disturbance around midnight on Wednesday at the Vestal Inn on Front Street, when he allegedly made inappropriate comments to women in the bar. Clifford, who is said to have been intoxicated at the time, was approached by a woman’s boyfriend and asked to leave. At that time, Clifford threw a bottle at one of the women, who deflected the bottle with her hand but sustained a cut in the process. Clifford is facing charges of misdemeanor third-degree assault. He is set to appear in Vestal Town Court at a later date.
