State legislature worked over the weekend on New York’s budget and has plans to pass the budget today. The budget will mark the 4th consecutive early or on-time budget for the state, and Senator Tom Libous touched on the importance of getting the budget completed on time.
The Senator also spoke about additional aid that will be coming to Tioga County, specifically Tioga Downs in Nichols.
It’s also been announced that despite last week’s reports of a difference in funding between the Senate and Assembly for the pharmacy school at Binghamton University, the school will be receiving the full $10 million in state funding originally announced by Governor Cuomo back in January.
