Seven fire departments responded to a trailer fire in Conklin Monday night. The call came in around 8 o’clock Monday for a fire at The Fountain Bleu Trailer Park. The family living in the home was able to safely escape with their pets, avoiding any injuries. A quick response by firefighters allowed the home to be saved, which is uncommon for trailers. Departments from Windsor, West Windsor, Five Mile Point, Kirkwood, Hallstead, and the Town of Binghamton all responded to the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
