The Binghamton Police department made two arrests with the assistance of Facebook. Minutes after posting still photos from surveillance cameras of two larceny suspects, police were able to arrest 21-year-old Amanda Finnerty and 23-year-old Travis Gehring, both of Kirkwood. The two were identified in less than twelve minutes after the department posted the photos to Facebook.
