The Broome County Mental Health Clinic is another step closer to officially closing its doors. According to officials, the clinic was no longer financially feasible following changes in Medicaid reimbursement for government health facilities. Those changes took place back in 2012, but now the clinic is down to just three full-time workers and one part-time worker. The clinic serves 550 outpatient children and adults. There is no current timetable for the official closure of the facility at this time.
