A Canton man is facing charges of endangering the welfare of a child after two small children under his care were found playing in a creek while he was asleep. 24-year-old Bryan Dodge is also facing two counts of summary disorderly conduct. Canton Police were informed by two women that the children were playing in a fast-flowing creek before the women pulled them from the water. One of the children was a 2-year-old girl and the other a 5-year-old boy. A police officer walked to Dodge’s home on Macintosh Lane, where Dodge admitted he must have fallen asleep. He is now facing a preliminary hearing next month.
