The 42-year-old trooper was killed during a routine traffic stop on Interstate 81 on Thursday when he was struck by 60-year-old Almond Upton of Melrose, Florida, the man who is now facing first-degree murder charges in connection to the incident. Over 1,000 people attended Skinner’s calling hours which were held Monday evening in Port Dickinson.
