The Broome County Corrections Academy sent 30 new corrections officers through graduation. The new corrections officers spent a total of 9 weeks in training prior to yesterday’s graduation. The ceremony was held at the Cornell Cooperative Extension in the Town of Dickinson. The officers will go on to serve in Broome, Chenango, Cortland, Tioga, and Tompkins counties.
