A mobile home in Susquehanna County was destroyed by a two-alarm fire Thursday evening. Crews were called to 224 State Route 4013 in Apolocan Township just south of Little Meadows. Firefighters responded in about ten minutes and extinguished the flames in about 45 minutes, but the home suffered heavy damage. The homeowner was at the residence at the time of the fire but was able to safely escape, and no injuries were reported. Fire departments from Vestal, Apalachin, and Warren Township in Bradford County all assisted Little Meadows. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
