Matthews Auto Group has announced that they will be bringing drive-in movies back to Vestal starting this weekend. The auto dealership will be hosting a drive-in feature of Disney’s “Frozen” on both Saturday and Sunday night at The Big Field behind Lowe’s at the corner of Shippers Road and Old Vestal Road. The old V Drive-In was a drive-in located in Vestal right around the corner at the current location of the Towne Square Mall, and it operated for close to 30 years before closing in 1987. Matthews is expecting about 300 cars per night at the drive-in this weekend. Tickets are available at any Matthews location and gates open at 7 o’clock both nights, with show time at 8:45.
