An Endicott man was arrested on Tuesday following reports of a strong-arm robbery at Walgreens in Johnson City. 30-year-old Todd Corey has been charged with a felony count of third-degree robbery after he allegedly forcibly grabbed a shopping bag from a customer, stealing its contents, including prescription narcotic medication. The incident took place just before ten o’clock Tuesday morning. Police chased Corey on foot, setting up a perimeter in the area, and eventually finding him near Route 17 eastbound and Route 201 in Johnson City just before 10:15. The stolen medication was found in a nearby wooded area. A police dog was used in the search and no injuries were reported. Corey was arraigned and sent to the Broome County jail without bail.
