Parts of downtown Binghamton were without power and Internet access this morning. At eight o’clock this morning, over 800 customers in the city were without power and the Broome County office building was closed due to the outage. The Binghamton Department of Motor Vehicles office also said it was experiencing computer outages due to the problem and were unable to complete transactions until the issue was resolved. The Endicott Department of Motor Vehicles at 124 Washington Avenue remains open and unaffected by the issue.
