The man accused of discharging a firearm inside his Keystone Manor apartment in Sayre back in April entered a guilty plea in district court on Tuesday. 62-year-old James Carnrike pleaded guilty Tuesday to one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct during a preliminary hearing in exchange for two other charges being withdrawn. Those charges include a third-degree felony charge of discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure and a second-degree misdemeanor charge of reckless endangerment. Carnrike will have to pay $300 in fines and court costs. The charges stem from an incident on April 23rd in which Carnrike is accused of firing a weapon inside his apartment and had to talk with officers by telephone for about an hour before surrendering to police without further incident.
